CALLING ALL VICTORIAN JUDOKA! The State Championships is not far away (and following that the Australian Championships). Sunday June 23rd, Flemington Community Centre. Judo Grand Slam
In an ever-evolving city where sport is an integral part of society, the judo events have advanced at the same rate as the Azerbaijan Judo Federation staged the annual World Masters and Grand Prix events in recent years before securing one of the four marquee Grand Slam events this year.
Seven weight categories were in action as the women’s -48kg, -52kg, -57kg and -63kg categories and men’s -60kg, -66kg, -73kg categories competed.More info : www.ijf.org

http://www.judonz.org/JNZ is pleased to announce that five of our members have received grants from the JNZ "Fight for Gold" funds.This fund has been established by JNZ to assist prospective players in their aspiration to compete in the 2014 Commonwealth Games.$ 1000 has been awarded to each of the following players to assist with their offshore training in preparation for the OJU Championships in Cairns in April. This is an important selection event for the Glasgow games.Grant recipients are Darcina Manuel, Moira de Villiers, Ivica Pavlinic, Mark Brewer and Jason Koster. Congratulations to each of the recipients.

Sunday, May 19, 2013 Santa Clara High School, 3000 Benton Street, Santa Clara, CA 95051 This event is open to all USJI, USJF and USJA members. A current membership card or proof of registration (Primary Membership) from the USJI, USJF or a current USJA registration card showing insurance coverage will be required to participate and must be displayed to the registration personnel at the time that the contestant registers.
